Terms of service
Effective from 11 October 2026
1. Introduction
These terms govern the use of the vstupio service available at vstupio.sk, online.vstupio.sk and on organisers’ subdomains and websites where the service is embedded (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by creona, s. r. o., registered office Ku Bratke 1, 934 01 Levice, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 47 457 589, tax ID (DIČ) 2023879451, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Nitra, section Sro, file no. 35341/N. Contact: event@vstupio.sk, phone +421 915 295 278. The operator is not a VAT payer.
2. Definitions
- Organiser – a person or entity (studio, instructor, association, municipality, agency etc.) offering its sessions, courses, retreats or events through the Service.
- Customer – a person who makes a booking or buys an entry or seat from an Organiser through the Service.
- Booking – a Customer’s binding registration for a specific session or seat of an Organiser, including any payment.
3. Role of the operator
The operator provides Organisers with software for schedules, bookings, payments, check-in and seat sales. The operator is not the organiser of any session, course, retreat or event and is not a party to the contract between the Customer and the Organiser.
The contract for attending a session, course, retreat or event is concluded solely between the Customer and the Organiser. The Organiser is responsible for its content, delivery, quality, changes or cancellation, price, cancellation rules and receipts. Information about the Organiser and its terms is shown in its calendar or on its website.
4. Terms for Customers
- A booking is created when confirmed in the Service; a paid booking only after successful payment. A booking not paid within the set time limit expires automatically.
- Customers must provide truthful details and protect access to their account.
- Cancellations, refunds and waiting lists follow the Organiser’s rules shown with each session (e.g. free cancellation period).
- For leisure services with a fixed date (sessions, events, retreats) consumers have no 14-day right of withdrawal under consumer protection law; the Organiser’s cancellation rules remain unaffected.
- If the Organiser cancels a session or event, the refund is handled by the Organiser; if the operator received the payment, the operator refunds the Customer on the Organiser’s instruction and at the Organiser’s expense, in the same way the payment was made.
5. Prices and payments
- Prices of sessions, courses, retreats and tickets are set by the Organiser.
- Class and course bookings: online card payments are processed by Stripe and go directly to the Organiser’s Stripe account. The operator does not hold or pay out this money and has no access to card details.
- Event tickets: if the Organiser has enabled payment collection through the operator, the operator collects the Customer’s payment through Stripe on behalf and for the account of the Organiser, who remains the seller. The operator records the payments received and, after settlement, pays them out to the Organiser’s connected Stripe account, minus the ticket fee, Stripe’s card fee, and refunded and disputed payments. The operator has no access to card details.
- For ticket sales, the Organiser pays the operator a fee for each ticket according to the chosen plan (currently €0.99, €0.79 or €0.59 per ticket, also for free tickets and invitations). It is not charged separately to the Customer; the Organiser may build it into the ticket price. The fee is not refunded when an event is cancelled or a payment refunded, unless the operator and the Organiser agree otherwise.
- The price of the Service for Organisers (bookings) is agreed individually in an offer or contract.
6. Terms for Organisers
- Organisers use the Service under an offer or contract with the operator; these terms apply unless the contract states otherwise.
- The Organiser is responsible for accurate session, price and cancellation information, for its legal obligations (e.g. tax, record-keeping and consumer obligations) and for handling complaints about its services.
- The Organiser is the controller of its Customers’ personal data; the operator processes it on the Organiser’s behalf as a processor.
- The Service must not be used for unlawful activities or for sending unsolicited messages.
- When payments are collected through the operator, the Organiser must complete identity and business verification with Stripe (connected account). Until then, tickets cannot be sold with payment through the operator.
- The Organiser is responsible for refunding Customers when an event is cancelled or materially changed and for payment disputes (chargebacks). The operator may set off refunds paid to Customers, disputed payments and related fees against the Organiser’s payouts; if payouts are insufficient, the Organiser will pay them on the operator’s request.
- The operator may reasonably delay or withhold a payout where there is a justified suspicion of misuse, in case of disputed payments or when an event is cancelled, only to the extent and for the time needed to resolve the matter. The payout period is stated in the offer or contract; if none is stated, payout is made after the event has taken place and been settled, without undue delay.
- As the seller, the Organiser is responsible for issuing payment receipts and for taxation of its revenue. The operator provides supporting documents (sales and settlement overviews, CSV export).
7. Availability and liability
The operator strives for continuous availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation (e.g. during maintenance or third-party outages). The operator is liable for damage caused by breach of its obligations under applicable law; it is not liable for Organisers’ services or outages of payment and hosting partners.
The operator applies technical measures against selling the same seat twice. Should it happen nevertheless, the Customer is entitled to a refund or a replacement seat as agreed with the Organiser.
8. Complaints and disputes
Complaints about sessions, courses and events are handled by the Organiser. Complaints about the Service can be sent to event@vstupio.sk; we will handle them without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest.
Consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, e.g. the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk).
9. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection in the consumer’s country of residence. The operator may reasonably amend these terms; changes are published on this page with their effective date. Bookings made before a change are governed by the version valid at the time they were made.
Personal data protection is described on the Privacy policy page.
